Company History

The Derby Fireplace Company is a family run business that has served the Midlands since 1973. Originally we specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of dressed stone and brick fireplaces. Steadily we have grown over the years by developing our products and services to suit the ever changing tastes and trends of the fireplace market.

Based on the Wyvern Retail Park just off the A52, The Derby Fireplace Company is proud to be a supplier of some of the UK's and Europe's leading manufactures of fireplace products. With over 80 fireplace displays ranging from the ever popular Adams style utilising materials such as wood, marble, stone and cast iron to the latest in contemporary hole in the wall fires and stoves, our aim is to have something to suit everyone.

The year 2000 saw the opening of our second showroom, The Nottingham Fireplace Company on Arkwright Street in Nottingham city centre. This has allowed us to better serve the Midlands area with a large selection of our most popular fireplaces complimented with products exclusive to our Nottingham showroom.

Even if you cannot find exactly what it is you are looking for on display in our showrooms our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff can guide you through our range of bespoke products, many which are manufactured at our very own marble and stone workshop in Derby.

Products can be sold on a supply bases, but for piece of mind you can take advantage of our survey and installation service. Experience has shown us the importance of employing our own team of Gas Safe and Hetas registered fitters rather then using subcontractors. Not only does it mean we have full control over the installation process, but you the customers can be assured that you have fully qualified installers who are familiar with all our product ranges working in your homes.
